John,
Many thanks for all year 2007. Hope it is real wake up call to all out there. We will continue to listen in on the internet to you, Steve, and Hawk in 2008.
Here in Dearborn, MI Thousands and Thousands have been let go from the automotive big 3. Chrysler is expected to layoff several thousand more in Jan. 2008. I am a layed off engineer.
35-40% of the homes here are empty, Compleatly abandoned, HUD stickered, power & gas cut, Forclosure notice tagged, or for sale! Squatters are breaking in. No Kidding!
Our fire department house calls have doubled in a year, per our own city council.
Homes that were for sale at $180,000 two years ago, the owners are now willing to sell for $75,000-cash. Still no buyers. People are moving away and no one is moving in–no JOBS around here. This was a great neighbor hood 5 years ago. Homes have been for sale for over 3 years.
Also noted here gas is $3.07/gal. and Food stores’ shelves have less stock on them, just-in-time level, less varity. Its getting bad around here.

Dear John,
For many years, I have closely read, listened to and heeded the warnings of future shock. I thank God for the Internet and access to the blow by blow events, information and insights you, Steve, Tom, Alex, Hal and others have provided in regards to preparing us for the coming tribulation.
Aside from the mortgage on our house, my husband and I are debt free, living without the bells and whistles but gratefully, within our means. Granted this is becoming more challenging as prices sky rocket but we’re hanging in there. Years ago we cashed in IRA’s and purchased gold at $328 an oz and have a healthy supply of silver and platinum. Thanks to having ‘ears that hear and eyes that see’, we also have a decent storage supply of food, water, medical and other survival supplies which are replenished regularly. Better safe than sorry.
However, we don’t collect and hoard these items necessarily for ourselves, but more so for our loved ones who do not share in our faith in God.
As Bible believing Christians, we have hope in the “snatching away” of the church per the promise of God prior to the time of Jacob’s troubles. The scriptures state God will remove the Holy Spirit’s presence from the earth
( whom resides in the Body of Christ, asleep and living ) and will then release His judgement on a stubborn and rebellious earth and all who have rebuffed the free gift of salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son. While we have done our best to share the gospel with family and friends, some remain blinded and it is for them we plan for the future shortages.
With all that is happening in the world, it’s difficult not to panic and get wrapped up in the scenarios you’ve painted, John, and we absolutely believe they ARE prophetic. However, we also believe there is still time to escape, by receiving forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood for the remission of sins.
Though if the worse happens and there is no ‘rapture’ of the Body of Christ, there will still be death eventually and then The Judgement. Per the book of Revelation as well as your own preditions, it’ll likely be sooner than later.
To those who believe they can survive the evil that is foretold -without Christ- I respectfully submit; how much food, water, guns, medicine, etc will you, your families (and pets) require to survive what is forecasted to an indefinite HELL on earth?
When you read of the horrors to come, why would anyone fight so hard to live such a life in such a world?
If the Bible is not true, where, when and how will it end?
God provided the escape hatch and promised to be found by any who honestly seek Him.
Until then, thank you again, so very much, for your much needed and appreciated service.
In Christ,
Sharyn

Here is why the RAPTURE is at the end of Jacob’s troubles.
The dead in Christ shall rise before the living. It is obvious some saints will die during the tribulation’s end and if they are to rise first, it is clear the so called rapture will be at the end; it is called the last trump and the trump of God.
WANT PROOF; read this.
Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make WAR WITH THE SAINTS, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

In regard to Mr. Saxon.
1 Thes 4:16
The last trump is at the very end, is when Christ returns. He is only returning one more time. It seems clear in Revelations that the dead will meet Him in the air as He descends to claim the earth as His, and instantly wins the the battle of Armegdon, and sets up His kingdom.
Many true saints will be beheaded, and will be much rewarded later. Please remember this point, Christ will only return once.

Confusion comes from mistaking the word “trump” to be the same thing in every passage and also by confusing the Body of Christ with Israel. Where do you find the church, which is His Body, in Revelation?
Quoting from Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary:
…the act of the Lord in raising from the dead the saints who have fallen asleep and changing the bodies of those who are living, at the Rapture of all to meet Him in the air, 1 Cor. 15:52, where “the last trump” is a milatary allusion, familiar to Greek readers, and has no connection with the series in Rev. 8:6 to 11:15;
Here’s a Q & A from a pretty reliable web site:
Q: In 1 Corinthians 15:52, Paul refers to the rapture occurring at the “last trump”. Was Paul referring to the seventh trumpet in the book of Revelation? And if so, would that mean that the rapture is at the end of the tribulation?
A: The answer to both questions is “No”. Paul wrote the epistle of 1 Corinthians several years before John wrote the book of Revelation. So the Corinthians could not have known there would have been seven trumpets in the tribulation. It would not be logical for Paul to try to explain the rapture to the Corinthians using terms from a scriptural concept which had not yet been revealed. So the “last trump” which Paul mentioned is not any one of the seven trumpets blown by the seven angels in the book of Revelation. Instead, it is the last trump of this age of grace, “the trump of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). All of Paul’s epistles are to Christians in this age of grace, but the book of Revelation is about the tribulation, when the Law of Moses will be reinstated. We must differentiate between Law and Grace. For a detailed study on why we know the rapture is before the tribulation, see For Views of End Times Prophecy.
Besides, the seventh trumpet in Revelation will not occur at the end of the tribulation anyway. The first six trumpets occur in the first half of the tribulation (Revelation 8-9), and the seventh trumpet will be sounded at mid-tribulation (Revelation 11:15). The seventh trumpet will then be followed by the three and a half years of great tribulation clearly stated in Revelation 12:6, “a thousand two hundred and threescore days” and in Revelation 13:5, “forty and two months”.
Paul, writing to the church, say’s we are not appointed “to wrath”. Many believe the wrath spoken of is the time of Jabob’s trouble…the great tribulation….”Jacob’s trouble” mind you, refer’s primarily to Israel, not the Body of Christ.
