About the Blovel, The Day The Dollar Died
January 21, 2010
By John Galt
FYI gang, this brief announcement:
The series will terminate in February before the fictional start date of the story.
IN the interim, to insure I can jam pack as much as I would like to think will happen into the story and finish developing the characters for everyone, I will start to spread out the publishing a wee bit and put 2-3 chapters up each week on weekends, Wednesdays and maybe if time permits, squeeze one more in on Fridays.
I hope that all of my fans enjoy this series as it has made the author think about the implications somewhat also, and hopefully one more soul becomes aware of the gravity of the nation’s position in history and fragility of the reality we have been dumbed down to believe.

What island are you thinking of getting away to? Or will it be a little seafaring while the implosion occurs?
Bring it on!

Thanks for a great story ? We are WAY past the point of no return as much as we would like to think that we aren’t. The storm has built on the horizon and is coming for us. For all those present and not we raise a toast, for the future is now..

Thanks John, I have more days to look forward to in the coming weeks. As we all know, TRUTH is stranger than Fiction and unless you have some inside info, we will most likley see a very scary landscape when the dollar dies its unavoidable death. Hope and pray for the Best, prepare for the WORST. Your writting is helping to educate and hopefully prepare some of the people (sheeple) for what is a very possible reality.

Thanks for the effort and imagination that you have put into this story (and the posts that come around it). It has certainly got me thinking – and acting…
Wish you the best

Great news about spedding up the evolution John!
Also, this is a great way to try and wake up some of the folks that haven’t quite drank the koolaid but are close. Since this blovel and the rest of your writing is making it’s way around the world you have surely caused some of them to put down the glass and step away from the television
Really looking forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee and rereading the whole story when we come to the exciting conclusion.

John,
You should really consider taking this series to a publisher like http://www.defenderpublishing.com/.
Tom has a great publishing company and is a author himself. I highly suggest your consideration to get this series published.
I will cc Tom Horn on this…

I am so glad you will be adding more chapters each week! This storyline is riveting and I have to keep reminding myself that it’s fiction. I can truly see this happening in America at some point in the near future. Scary as hell but better forewarned than for it to catch us by surprise.

I have been following your series with great interest although I can’t say that I enjoy it. In fact, it brings tears to my eyes every time I read it and I find myself feeling quite drained afterward. I don’t consider myself one of the sheeple. I have been awake for quite sometime. I was led to your site because I am a regular reader of Jim Sinclair’s jsmineset. Now I am also a regular reader of your site. I am starting to think that no matter how much we prepare its never going to be enough. In fact, I suspect that being prepared may soon be equivalent to being a criminal if things unfold anywhere near what you are laying out in your blovel. That just scares me. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying I don’t want to know what’s coming I just wish I could believe that there really is something that can be done about it. Like another poster, I have tried to share these things with others. Unfortunately most people I encounter refuse to open their eyes and become openly hostile toward any idea that contradicts the government line that tells them things are getting better. I’d say those people are in the majority and they scare me as much if not more than the government goons. Sorry for being such a wimp but that’s how I feel.

I hope to see more from this though I understand the reasoning behind your cutting it at the end date.
It’s kind of like watching an accident in action, as macabre as that sounds. Every little bit of info helps when it comes to prep though. Definitely some areas that I hadn’t thought of but can see clearly now thanks to you.
Keep up the great work and watching the horizons I can’t see from my AO.

Your contribution to society is duly noted by the multitude of fans following this series. Excellent work John. Even if you hadn’t decided to “hurry” the ending, I think we all would have been happy with the information you’ve provided thus far.
The future looks kindly upon the bold. You are a patriot my friend.

AWESOME!!! One week per chapter is too long to wait. Plus you need to wrap it up before Feb. 2010 when the story starts. Why did you pick that date in Feb. anyways?

To Elizabeth -
Your comments match my experience. I read Jim Sinclair over the past 2 to 3 years. Sinclair’s timing is off but his numbers are right.
Martin Armstrong was interesting reading (due to pointer from Jim Sinclair’s blog). In particular his stuff on “It’s about time” was a fascinating read and very eye-opening.
Prepping is about being prepared and not about “doom and gloom” propaganda. This blovel paints a different America than we had 40 years ago. But, the blovel is reflecting the truth.
In the last 48 hours the Supreme Court of the United States overturned campaign finance laws. They now permit the private corporation an unrestricted ability to fund certain candidates. The Main Stream Media is now a lap dog to the lobbyists and the Congress is under a 24-7 fund raising scheme. So, the circumstances in the blovel are coming true.

I just got caught up on reading you series. A commendable piece of work you should be proud. While some of the particular scenarios may or may not be as plausible as others the main point that very radical events can take place under the current conditions comes through loud and clear.
It’s my hope that America can avoid this future however my hope is quickly diminishing with each passing month. I fear that she is destined to pass through trying times almost to the point of mathematical certainty. It’s hard for me to say but I think the American experiment has perhaps run its course.
If I would have one criticism it would be that if the population of the U.S. is ever set against the military then the military can’t win. I say this because their most potent weapons would be worse then useless in a domestic insurgency. They cant call in air strikes and helicopter gunships because the society that provides the wherewithal to provide that force with its personnel and weapons would simply cease to function on any level. In other words they would have to blow themselves and us up.
Put more simply if you don’t get paid you don’t go to work and if your own extended family gets messed with by the same organization you serve this might affect your loyalties.
