UK: Christians more Militant than Muslims

Does anyone really think a commission with this name could be in the least bit sane?

In the Sunday U.K. Telegraph the following story by Jonathan Wynne-Jones reveals how far our brethren overseas have fallen:

Christians are more militant than Muslims, says Government’s equalities boss

My fine readers, please re-insert your eyeballs back into your head and continue reading. According to the extreme leftist who runs this “commission” who authored a report on religious discrimination in the United Kingdom soon to be released, the Christian community of England is more militant and less tolerant than other religions and homosexuality. Apparently the commissioner, one Trevor Phillips hasn’t kept track of the record of human rights in Islamic Republics regarding homosexuality or open expressions of Christian views, but let us stay focused on Mother England to determine just how far the mighty have fallen and the United States has to fall.

The use of “equality legislation” to insure tolerance and compliance is a favorite theme of this commission used to insure that all citizens are provided with equal opportunity to enjoy life, liberty, and success regardless of race, creed, social origin, sexual orientation, physical abilities, etc. Sounds good doesn’t it? The problem is that when you begin to dissect other aspects of the interview in the U.K. Telegraph with Mr. Phillips, anyone with an I.Q. above room temperature can comprehend the falsehoods he promotes. In this statement:

“The most likely victim of actual religious discrimination in British society is a Muslim but the person who is most likely to feel slighted because of their religion is an evangelical Christian.”

it would appear that he is proclaiming that the Muslim community is more often than not a victim of religious discrimination yet when you review the recent sampling of news stories over the last few years from the United Kingdom, it is easy to see the statement is nothing more than pandering to the Islamic community. For example:

YWCA Drops Reference to Christianity form its Name (UK)

Bibles put out of reach in libraries

Teachers could be caught by planned ‘diversity’ rules

Cafe owner ordered to remove extractor fan because neighbour claimed ‘smell of frying bacon offends Muslims’

I could continue with a litany of anti-Christian, pro-Islamic stories from the United Kingdom but by that token, the same if not a greater number could be found in the United States. If Americans value their freedoms more than our British brethren, the utopian Socialists must be checked from their venomous attacks on the Bill of Rights and imposition of Political Correctness in the name of equality, diversity, and human rights. Otherwise the U.S. might well look like Great Britain, a shell of itself as an Empire of old and a weak, morally corrupted, and inept nation of pansies determined to impose all views on its citizens, even if it means extinguishing the culture established centuries ago which assured freedom for all of its subjects.
