Summer of Rage: Ireland-Bus hijacked, Petrol Bombs thrown at Police in Northern Ireland

By John Galt

The situation in Northern Ireland apparently continues to deteriorate as last night’s violence was described as “serious public disorder” in Ballyclare Co Antrim according to the Irish Times Sunday edition. The following portion is from the story Bus hijacked during night of serious violence in North :

Petrol bombs and other missiles were thrown at police and a bus was hijacked and used to ram a police vehicle.

The violence flared at about 11.30pm last night when a crowd of up to 100 people began throwing missiles.

A number of baton rounds were fired and water cannon was deployed. Calm was restored to the area by 2.30am.

Disturbances were also reported in Carrickfergus and Newtownabbey.

At about 3am police were called to the Leckagh Drive area of Magherafelt Co Derry to trouble involving up to 50 people close to a bonfire.

Police were attacked by missiles as they tried to remove a barricade.

A number of homes were also targeted in attacks which police described as sectarian.

The last thing the United Kingdom and Ireland need at this moment is a renewal of the conflict in Northern Ireland but with economic conditions continuing to deteriorate in the both nations, there is an emerging concern that the resurgence of the “new” IRA and actions against Protestants and British interests in the North and South.  If the rumored demands by the government in Dublin are ignored and the Irish do not receive a break with the banksters like Greece is getting, then the hardships imposed on the island nation will ultimately result in the war expanding beyond the North and back on the English homeland; this time targeting the financial centers and the very banksters desiring to permanently enslave the Irish as their debtor serfs.
