For many of my readers and listeners, this editorial endorsement might come as a shock.
I have railed against Dr. Ron Paul’s foreign policy pronouncements which I feel are too short-sighted and endanger our national security.
I have been disappointed by his activities regarding the playing of politics to enhance his district’s financial benefits and ghastly support of causes which hurt the United States in the long run in some areas of domestic and international politics.
Yet no man on this earth will get my endorsement 100% of the time for every action or belief they hold; especially at this crucial intersection in American and world history.
When all is said and done, the remaining “Republican” aka, RINO (Republican In Name Only) field only serves two purposes; to extend the disgusting display of militaristic adventurism which has bankrupted this nation or expand the supremacy of the state to serve foreign financial masters.
Hence, without question, the only candidate remaining who has disavowed both the expansionism and adventurism along with the willingness to reign in the government with a direct plan of action without a “catch-phrase” or sloganeering, is the one candidate I shall support from this point forward.
Dr. Ron Paul has his political warts and flaws, but of the candidates remaining, he is the only one to put the nation and Constitution first ahead of a false nationalism and more importantly, internationalism.
