by John Galt April 26, 2012 19:00 ET I wish to thank the fine folks over at the Big Cat Habitat in Sarasota, Florida for allowing this photography class and behind the fence views of these beautiful animals. Gang, we, what’s left of the decent humans, are all that is left to preserve the gifts that God via Mother Nature has given us. 4.25.12 OverMountain Radio: Live, Refreshed, and a typical AWM News Review

By John Galt April 25, 2012 – 18:45 ET Back. Live. Relaxed. And carrying over a theme of impending doom. However, Mother Nature gave me inspiration and hope as did those citizens who attempt to save God’s exotic creatures like this one: I wish to thank the Big Cat Habitat of Florida for allowing this photography class and such close contact with the animals. They were beautiful and a humbling reminder as to the beauty that the Good Lord has provided for us to share the bounty of this planet with….

4.19.12 AEP: George Soros and the Bundesbank’s Patriotic Putsch

by John Galt April 19, 2012 23:00 ET   Tonight’s entry from Ambrose Evans-Pritchard contains not one, but two veiled warnings about the potential for another round of deflationary deleveraging which will stall the U.S. economy if not put it into outright recession, albeit brief, and destroy the European Union should it occur. This one excerpt from George Soros’ commentary within the story should be alarming to U.S. government officials because it is a warning shot across the bow: George Soros has launched all-out war against the Bundesbank. In his latest…

Ford Continues to add jobs during the Economic Recovery

by John Galt April 19, 2012 22:30 ET   The economic recovery keeps chugging right a long as Ford announces the building of a new factory to almost double production. Unfortunately for the American worker, this plant is being built in Hangzhou, China to boost the automakers capacity by over 250,000 vehicles annually. Amazingly enough, no UAW workers will be hired to produce these vehicles. To read the full story from the Malaysia Star, click on the story link below: Ford invests US$760m in new Hangzhou plant

Municide Update: Apparently the first (of many to come) Public Pension Fund filed for Bankruptcy Today

by John Galt April 19, 2012 19:15 ET   In 2008, I wrote a piece titled “Municide” (Click on link to read in full) where I outlined the coming collapse of many counties, cities, and other municipal entities due to the implosion of the municipal bond market thanks to the collapse of the real estate market. Data today indicates that the housing market is far from recovering, especially considering that institutions like Bank of America saw a stunning 72% decline from last years mortgage origination according to their recently released quarterly…

Israeli War Game Scenario: Iranian Nuclear Program Set back 7 Years

by John Galt April 17, 2012 22:30 ET   While the American public is glued to the latest edition of Jersey Shore: Secret Service Style, the world is moving closer to a disaster in the Middle East which will change the shape of U.S. foreign policy for the next fifty years. The newspaper Makor Rishon assembled various former government officials, retired military, and professors to determine a likely outcome to an Israeli surprise attack on October 16, 2012. The net results of the attack estimate a seven year setback for the…

4.16.12 AEP: Nicolas Sarkozy lambasts ECB’s rigid policies

by John Galt April 16, 2012 21:55 ET   Tonight’s commentary from Ambrose Evans-Pritchard demonstrates the fallacy of central banking during an election season in a nation or continent experiencing economic woe. The ECB has become the target of Nicolas Sarkozy as the Communist candidate,  Hollande,  is smoking him in every poll and it would appear that the French are refusing to follow Sarkozy’s surrender to Germany and demanding a strong turn to the left. The consequences of France’s hope and change movement are about to be endured by millions and…

The Voice has Changed to: OverMountain Radio

By John Galt April 16, 2012 – 18:00 ET Tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern, a once and only history lesson of how less than 3% of the inhabitants of a young nation founded the first Republic on American soil; before 1776. This story needs to be told because the dangers our Republic face today are as tragic and severe as the risks of Indians and Red Coats of that era.   To understand where this show is heading, I present to you the Sermon and Prayer of Samuel Doak at the…

04.15.12 – Saudi Markets down 2.34%, Israel down 1.80%

by John Galt April 15, 2012 10:15 ET   Don’t worry, be happy. The markets will turn around just as soon as Uncle Ben proclaims “We are the World” (Catchy song title, eh?) and buys every equity from any exchange on the planet Earth. The Saudi Arabian TASI seems to indicate further pain for Asian and US equity markets on Monday: (click on thumbnails to enlarge graphs) With the Israeli TASE down 1.80% it doesn’t look like any serious relief is forthcoming when Japan and China open tonight: The key will…

BREAKING NEWS: North Korean Rocket Launch Fails

by John Galt April 12, 2012 19:30 ET   The theory that porn and Iranian missile technology will create a viable ICBM, er, satellite for the nutty North Korean dictator has blown apart again. Per numerous news sources, the launch of the Unha-3 rocket did fail in mid-flight, failing to launch the satellite into orbit. The question becomes now did it really fail or did we “fail” the launch using some secret technology as pictured above…. Latest story from Reuters at the link below: North Korea launches rocket amid international condemnation

George Zimmerman meet Leo Katzenberger

by John Galt April 11, 2012 22:00 ET   Tonight the media and mob got their wish. George Zimmerman was charged, arrested, and jailed for allegedly committing the act of Second Degree Murder as Special Prosecutor Angela Corey announced this evening. Mr. Zimmerman turned himself in believing that America is still a land of due process and following the rule of law, something he will learn otherwise as this trial moves forward. As most great empires fade into history the first of many things to disappear is a nation’s honor and…

4.8.12 Ambrose Evans-Pritchard: Gold crash on Fed tightening and euro salvation looks premature

by John Galt April 8, 2012 20:50 ET And here we all were expecting gold to become a worthless relic and tanking to $100 per ounce if we believed every talking head in the regime, the Fed, and various Bubblevisions. Ambrose Evans-Pritchard unloads a power salvo in tonight’s commentary in the U.K. Telegraph: Gold crash on Fed tightening and euro salvation looks premature (Click on the title above to read the column in full) Just when everyone assumed the Fed had a clue in controlling economic reality, the forces of what…

4.8.12 Sunday Evening US Futures look ugly BUT

by John Galt April 8, 2012 20:00 ET   A quick heads up: US equity futures are averaging a decline between 120-140 Dow points at the open, 15-18 S&P 500 points. (Quotes from FINVIZ.com) Gold is also anticipating a weak US open but not with the type of dramatic move one would expect: (Quote from FOREXPROS.com) Depending on how China and Europe behave, tomorrow could be very interesting or more than likely a sharp opening decline followed by a weak rally recovering half of the losses. Regardless of the close of…

4.8.12 Middle East Markets: Mixed but generally Down

by John Galt April 8, 2012 11:00 ET The anticipation building up for the open of U.S. futures tonight is highlighted by the action in the Israeli and Arab markets which were open for trading today. In lieu of the non-farm payroll data, the theory is that there will be a decent sized plunge at the open of the US markets. The Saudi market probably illustrates the pattern the S&P 500 and DJIA will probably take; a sharp dive at the open with an afternoon recovery as the Saudi TASI did…

Study: Radioactive water to reach Hawaii in 2 years

by John Galt April 4, 2012 23:30 ET   Thankfully, the crisis is contained (allegedly). Just like the financial crisis. Check this story and graphics package out from The Asahi Shimbum: Study: Radioactive water to reach Hawaii in 2 years (click on the title above to read the original sourcing for the article) From the article by Takashi Sugimoto: Water contaminated by radioactivity that entered the sea from the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant will reach the Hawaiian Islands in March 2014, according to a computer simulation by the Japan Atomic…

Stocks Decline today BUT this Isn’t the Big One

by John Galt April 4, 2012 23:00 ET The United States Equity Markets declined today.   Now that Mr. Obvious has spoken… Gang, I’ll be the first to admit that technical analysis of THESE markets is an insane, stupid, waste of time. When the Federal Reserve is buying, logic, fundamentals, and technical analysis goes out the window. With that being established, Mr. Bernanke said the following in the FOMC minutes released this week: Now that the fun and games are over with, let’s address some reality. Many of the Bubblevision talking…

The Latin Spring has Begun

by John Galt April 4, 2012 19:20 ET   On December 17, 2010, a previously unknown street vendor named Mohamed Bouazizi walked out into the streets of Tunis and in protest of continued government interference and overbearing policies, set himself on fire. This act of self immolation set the entire Arab world on fire, causing romantic Western political imbeciles to think that this action and the political protests which followed were the acts of Islamic versions of George Washington and deserved the unqualified support of governments worldwide. Fast forward to today,…

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Sets the Obama Administration Straight

by John Galt April 4, 2012 18:00 ET   Yesterday afternoon Judge Jerry Smith of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals dared to do the unimaginable: He warned the Obama administration that they are not above the U.S. Constitution and demanded an explanation as to why they think they are. Listen to the exchange below and get your chuckle of the week.

Fukushima Radioactive Debris Moved Rapidly into Pacific Ocean

by John Galt April 3, 2012 05:30 ET   Thankfully, it is as contained as the financial crisis. Or is it? The lies being told to the American and Japanese public since the Fukushima disaster are well documented in various news sources around the world but no one wishes to address the long term threat. This morning in a Voice of America article, the news gets much worse: New Data Show Fukushima Radiation Moved Rapidly Out Into Pacific Ocean (click on the title above to read the article in full) This…

Arab Spring Year 2: Kurdistan Begins to heat up Again with Oil Embargo against Baghdad

by John Galt April 2, 2012 19:55 ET   The disaster which is the Middle East is the gift that keeps on giving to oil speculators in addition to the current U.S. regime. The instability of the region with the Iranian and Syrian situation gathered more steam today with the Kurdistan regional government cutting off all oil shipments to the central government in Baghdad. This basically cuts the Iraqi government off at the knees financially which only expands a corrupt nation’s crisis from a regional dispute to a national crisis. The…

Slime Doesn’t Pay

by John Galt April 2, 2012 17:25 ET   Slime doesn’t pay; well, for a while it did until people wanted to know what it was, how it was manufactured, and just what the heck it was. Fortunately for some fast food restaurants it was NOT the primary ingredient in everything they cooked so they can walk away proud that they didn’t slime the public with slime fries, slime salads, and slime sundaes. However, for AFA foods, the gig is up per the CBC News: ‘Pink slime’ company seeks bankruptcy protection…

Must Read: U.S. Officially Drawing up plans for Nuclear Powered Drones

by John Galt April 2, 2012 15:40 ET   A few weeks ago I covered a story on my nightly radio program from the Atlantic Wire about the concept of creating nuclear powered UAV’s, giving the government or government’s worldwide a 24/7 view of not just enemy movements but the actions of its citizens around the world. The original story can be found at the link below: How to Make Drones Scarier: Make Them Nuclear Powered This one quote from the opening of the article by Adam Clark Estes sums up…

When Bankers Win: 60% Unemployment, Poverty, Starvation

by John Galt April 1, 2012 12:00 ET   In the nation of Greece, poverty and misery rules the day as the ideals of Eurosocialism when implemented to completion take hold. The attempt to create a hybrid version of capitalism with Marxist overtones has never been successful and there is no reason to believe that success is just around the corner as a desperate population begins to realize the failure of the globalists which have sold the nation out to participate in an international currency system which offers no benefits nor…
