CNN is reporting tonight that in lieu of the last two days of violence and government actions against the Obama administration’s allies in the Muslim Brotherood (okay, I added that last part), all aid is hereby suspended to the nation of Egypt until further notice. From the article posted by CNN:
The United States will cut off aid to Egypt in the wake of the July coup against President Mohamed Morsy and the turmoil that has followed, a U.S. official said Tuesday.
The Obama administration withheld some military aid to Egypt in August.
The U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the full suspension has been prompted by an “accumulation of events,” including recent violence against protesters, dozens of whom were killed over the weekend.
This development is perfectly in line for the schedule created by the regime and the Republicans to create a geopolitical crisis so severe, so demanding of military intervention, and ultimately a protracted war involving our soldiers in the region. While many Americans might falsely assume that this would be another “fight for democracy and freedom” in the area, the truth is that this distraction is drastically needed to turn the attention away from the political theater and attempt to unify enough of the U.S. public to support the President as his poll numbers continue to decline.
The sad part for America’s legacy in the region is that via this course of action chosen irrationally by a megalomaniac and his rank amateur corps of career bureaucrats within the U.S. State Department is that within less than twenty years after displacing the defunct Soviet Union, the door has now been opened for Putin’s Russia to re-enter Egypt as the hero and thus push Saudi Arabia eventually closer to a Sino-Russian alliance to eject the U.S. from the area. It is way too early to tell but with Turkey recently shifting its weapons purchases to the Communist Chinese government along with some Russian purchases, it is only logical to assume that a cut off in U.S. aid will be a welcome event for those officers within the Egyptian military tired of the harassment and betrayal exhibited by Obama’s Imperial edicts.

National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said:
The reports that we are halting all military assistance to Egypt are false. We will announce the future of our assistance relationship with Egypt in the coming days, but as the President made clear at UNGA, that assistance relationship will continue.
The next story will be that the U.S. President has officially converted to Islam so they Egyptian people can relate to him more.
