In what can only be perceived as another blow to the ideal of “moderate Islam” the people of Morocco voted to put an Islamist party into the majority by picking up 125 seats. More from The Moroccan Times:

Morocco’s Justice and Development Party Wins General Elections with 125 seats

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan Minister of Interior communicated this morning the final results of Morocco’s parliamentary elections, the second since king Mohammed VI introduced limited constitutional reforms after the Arab Spring uprising.

As follow is the final results, by number of parliamentary seats:

1- PJD (Party of Justice and Development), 125 parliamentary seats.

2- PAM (Party of Authenticity and Modernity), 102 parliamentary seats.

3- Al Istiqlal party (IP), 46 parliamentary seats

4- Rally of Independents (RNI), 37 parliamentary seats.

5- Popular Movement (MP), 27 parliamentary seats.

6- Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), 20 seats.

7- Constitutional Union (UC), 19 parliamentary seats.

8- Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), 12 parliamentary seats.

9- Democratic and Social Movement, 3 parliamentary seats.

10- Federation of Democratic Left (FGD), 2 parliamentary seats.

Of course the Western media tried to put some lipstick on this pig of a result by modifying their headlines to read “Moderate Islamists Win Elections in Morocco” so as to pacify the sheepish populations of Europe and the U.S.

It is astonishing to this day that even the pathetic socialists and globalists can try to shove that concept down the people’s throats. However, considering the piss poor quality and weak individuals running for office or in power in the West, we deserve to fall.
