In what can only be called a bold move by Donald Trump and his transition team, reports surfaced on Thursday that they wanted the ultimate outsider to drain the swamp in the U.S. Treasury Department.
More from CNBC yesterday:
Excerpt from article:
In the wake of Donald Trump’s upset victory, advisors have floated the idea of naming Jamie Dimon as treasury secretary, according to two people familiar with the matter, but one of them added that the JPMorgan chief has said he would not be interested in the role.
Excellent idea! Think about this folks who supported the “drain the swamp” mantra. Trump wants to bring in the head of the bank which is the largest shareholder in the Federal Reserve, the man who while CEO led JP Morgan into conning the American people and creating the 2007-2008 financial crisis, and best of all a Hillary supporter. So far this story is pretty awesome but it gets better.
Since the word in the story above says it’s doubtful he would accept the position, it means that his second choice is another ultimate outsider (also from the CNBC article):
It was unclear who within Trump’s circle of advisors raised the idea or who else might be under consideration for treasury secretary. Trump campaign finance chief Steven Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sachs official, is reportedly considered to be the front runner.
Whew. That’s much better. The American people do not need the Treasury Department under the control of the former CEO who helped steer the Federal Reserve and the American economy into the 2008 crisis with all the alleged fraud they committed. Instead he wants to hire someone from the second largest Federal Reserve shareholding bank which was responsible for ruining the American economy and allegedly committing fraud to cause the 2008 financial crisis.
Yup, the next 4 years are going to be a blast as it would appear Trump wants to introduce his new theme as President:
Make America Bankster Again.
