As the American mainstream media maintains its focus on Trump’s choices for the Cabinet, his toothpaste, meal selection, and every Tweet he makes, there are much larger events stirring half a world away where most American citizens are clueless as to which actors are the good guys or bad guys in the events possibly about to unfold in the next twenty-four hours.
For the uninitiated, George Soros is the political and financial power behind the Ukrainian regime, along with Clinton puppets Victoria Nuland and Samantha Powers to ensure a dangerous expansion of NATO and United States hegemony designed to hem Russia in and “contain” a non-existent threat which Obama specified once as a second rate power. Along with that, reap huge profits while he and President Poroshenko entered into a profit sharing agreement to rape the Ukraine of its abundant natural resources and deprive Russia of trade access to the Roma nations of Eastern Europe.
Fast forward now to events in the past day (via Reuters):
Ukraine was due to start two days of missile tests on Thursday – a move that has angered Russia, prompting it to put its air defense forces on high alert on the annexed Crimea peninsula.
The disagreement marks a fresh escalation in tensions between the one-time allies, whose relations collapsed in 2014 after Russia seized Crimea and backed pro-Russian separatists fighting in eastern Ukraine.
Ukraine says the tests in its southern Kherson region, bordering Crimea, are legitimate and will be conducted within the framework of international obligations and treaties.
“We will continue to strengthen the defense capability of our nation and continue missile tests and training,” the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, Oleksander Turchynov, said on Wednesday.
Russia’s defense ministry has accused Ukraine of seeking to create a “nervous situation” and put its land-based and ship-borne air defense forces in Crimea on higher alert in response, Russian media reported.
In retaliation, some sources inside the Russian Defense Ministry have hinted that not only will they shoot down the Ukrainian missiles in flight, but also destroy the launch sites believed to be in the Odessa Oblast in Southwest Ukraine.

Needless to say, this would be viewed as an act of war by everyone in the world, even though it was the Kiev regime which provoked it. The Russians have moved S-300 and Pantir anti-aircraft/ABM systems from the eastern portion of the Crimean Peninsula near Kerch over to the western bases closer to Ukrainian territory. From Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty today:
Russia’s state-run TASS news agency reports that Russian air-defense forces in Crimea have been placed on high alert on the eve of planned Ukrainian missile tests near the Black Sea peninsula.
Moscow has protested the tests planned for December 1-2 near Crimea, which Russia seized from Ukraine in March 2014.
Russia’s Foreign Ministry on November 30 called the planned missile tests a “new large-scale provocation,” saying they were aimed at “escalating the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.”
On November 29, Ukraine issued an additional formal notice to airmen (NOTAM) in airspace danger zones in connection with the tests of air-to-air combat missile systems.
It said the tests will be conducted in accordance with international regulations entirely in Ukraine’s airspace over the open sea.
Media reports in Ukraine quoted Defense Ministry sources as saying that Moscow had officially warned Kyiv it would respond to the missile tests with a missile attack.
Ukraine has taken all precaution measures to prepare for missile firing drills on the border with Crimea and rules out any threat for residents of the Black Sea peninsula, spokesman for Ukraine’s Air Force Command Roman Yurchilo said on Wednesday.
“The immediate launch area is located 90 km from the territory of Crimea, which fully rules out any threat for the peninsula’s residents,” Yurchilo told the 112. Ukraine TV Channel.
“All safety measures have been used to hold the drills and risks that may emerge during the tests have been taken into account. The area of restricting the airspace on a temporary basis has been specified with the relevant coordinators, and also the time and the altitude of the ban on the use of the airspace have been determined,” Yurchilo said.
So why would Kiev risk a retaliatory air or missile strike on its territory to simply “test” it’s missile systems when the last tests were conducted hundreds of kilometers away from the Crimea over the Black Sea south of the city of Odessa?
Perhaps a quick review of which billionaire holds the leash of the Kiev regime is in order.
George Soros has spent hundreds of millions, perhaps billions of dollars to overthrow the Ukrainian government and install President Poroshenko with the U.S. State Department in an effort to destabilize Russia further under the perception that Russia was an economically and militarily weakened state. The thinking was that by seizing the Ukraine the natural resources could be consolidated under Western control and NATO would openly welcome having the Kiev government as a member state. Soros miscalculated, as did President Obama, and a civil war broke out which continues to this very evening creating a temporary stalemate with the Russian government promising to defend the Donbass region and all Russian citizens persecuted by Kiev.
Meanwhile, Soros wanted his globalist cabal to expand further into more nations and with the election of Hillary Clinton, he could have continued to rent the U.S. intelligence agencies and military as mercenary forces to create economic destabilization on a global scale so his investors could reap huge profits. That plan was thrown into disarray with the election of one Donald J. Trump as the next President of the United States.
This leaves the last card available for Mr. Soros to play; starting a war which would drag much of Europe and NATO into opposition against Russia after Russia launches retaliatory strikes upon Ukrainian territory. Are the actors in this drama capable of doing so? Yes, it is not unheard of for financial backers to underestimate the results of their political intervention, World War I being the most dire example, and thus causing a political situation so unstable emergency measures are declared in the participating nations.
Should the United States be dragged into a conflict with Russia via NATO and the Ukraine, President Obama would have no choice (in his mind) but to suspend the Constitution and transition to a new President until such a conflict is over. This would provide Soros with his block of President-Elect Trump from seizing power and trigger a type of global chaos which would ensure the Soros and other globalist investors would reap huge profits until the conflict subsides.
Unless of course it goes nuclear, then all bets are off.
Pray that the Ukrainian military has some sane officers still serving as a miscalculation on their part will result in the eradication of the Ukrainian nation and most of its citizens as a conflict fought by the East and West on their territory is of no consequence to Berlin, Brussels, or New York. The next 48 hours will indeed be terrifying should a mistake occur; just as it did in June of 1914.
UPDATE 21:30 ET:
Per the Ukranian news site, Unian, they have published the letter from the Russian Defense Ministry which states the following:
“The Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation warns that if launched missiles are spotted in the said area, they will be destroyed by the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the letter reads.
“If the launched missiles create a threat to Russian facilities located in this area of the Russian Federation’s territory (the ground, the sea and airspace), a response strike will be carried out to destroy the means of their launch,” the Russian Defense Ministry warned.
Here is the letter for my readers fluent in Russian:
