Despite the U.S. refusing to work with anyone in the region opposed to ISIS, Russia and Turkey now have an open and apparently active policy as of yesterday of joint coordination to attack ISIS targets in Syria, specifically Eastern parts of the Aleppo region towards the Raqqa border:
This type of coordination has NOT happened between the United States and Turkey, nor the UAE or Saudi Air Forces formerly deployed inside of Turkey. Thus one must question President Obama’s real motives plus those of the GCC nations who once had air units deployed there.
It does make one ask why.
