What a joke this has become. The Republicans are appearing to attempt to hold the line after a massive amount of pressure put on them by those evil voters who the politicians would rather ignore or just reduce the numbers allowed to participate anyways. So with the deadline approaching for the Sunday night market open, the Associated Press, also known as the United States Department of Propaganda fires this story out on the wires tonight (via Yahoo news):

Now it’s the “we have to protect the banksters and 401K’s and IRA’s those evil Republicans who want to start a seniors genocide. The reality is that the monies exist to pay benefits, the military, and service the debt but these idiots who ignored the same banksters raping the senior’s investments for years before the 2007-2009 financial crisis now express a sudden concern because their man in the White House is being made to look petulant and irrelevant.
Get ready for this to get worse in the next twenty-four hours before it gets better.
