If this era was under any administration other than Bush, Carter, or Obama, my readers would accuse me of making this up. Investor’s Business Daily broke a story tonight which illustrates the insanity running rampant in our government through several administrations but most notably the Bush and Obama globalist regimes. Imaging living life in the Soviet Union for a second. The average citizen in the old U.S.S.R. would buy necessities, works to survive, tries to avoid conflict with government, and not engage in activities that would kill themselves. Fast forward to the United States in the current century.
According to this article from I.B.D., EPA Funds Green Groups That Sue the Agency to Expand, the U.S. taxpayer in their ignorant bliss is paying for the very sword which slices their own throats and doesn’t care. For example from the article by John Merline:
One organization involved in the suit, the Environmental Defense Fund, has a long history of taking the EPA to court. In fact, a cursory review finds almost half a dozen cases in the past 10 years.
The odd thing is that the EPA, in turn, has handed EDF $2.76 million in grants over that same period, according to an IBD review of the agency’s grant database.
Angry yet? Oh, you will be once you read the article in full.
Add in the fact that groups that receive government grants from the EPA have filed over 3,000 lawsuits against the agency and the American people who say “elections don’t matter” are validating that fact every day. The nightmare goes beyond the EDF, it reaches to the Sierra Club and other “mainstream” envirowhacko groups. The few Republicans who expressed anger brought out the truth behind the lawsuits in this portion of the article:
That sparked an outraged letter from House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., and Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., ranking member of the relevant Senate panel, who said the costly settlement was “concocted in secret” and that it was “entirely discretionary, no court ordered them.”
In other words there suits were filed but never adjudicated so as to insure the relationship between the regulators and those who wished to expand regulation continues. This is a perfect reflection of the “Wisconsin Idea” as formulated in the late 1890′s and accelerating under the Marxist ideals of the current administration. The major factor behind these lawsuits is a law, passed while the American people were enjoying their sheepledom called the “Equal Access to Justice Act” created under the Carter administration and never adjudicated by the Federal Appeals Courts or Supreme Court to end the nightmare of bureaucratic and leftist tyranny.
Until the American people wake up and understand the costs of slumber, the Marxist elites will continue to dictate how the individual lives their lives, what they eat, drive, smoke, entertain themselves with, where they live, or how they exist.
Just like the Party did in the old Soviet Union.

Just more ways for them to destroy the system, no?
