After the administration that can’t shoot straight decided that bailing out on Central Asia by leaving Afghanistan in dishonor, many students and experts of the region worried that the destabilization of the area would create greater problems in the long run.

And so the decisions of the amateur hour contestants in the current regime’s Pentagon, CIA, and State Department have now created a conflagration from Dhacca to Damascus with their antics. But what is happening in Pakistan, a nuclear power, could create a war between regional powers with global consequences.

Needless to say, if or when the Pakistani military gets involved, perhaps at the behest of the Chinese government, all bets are off.

How did this start?

With the usual, the World Economic Forum’s inflationary program creating food shortages, inflation of basic goods and worse, depreciation of the domestic currency. From June 24th:

Needless to say, the newest and greatest term of the resetting called “loadshedding” has emanated from Pakistan and the protests there:

For the uninitiated, the term from the article by Dawn above is defined as follows (excerpt):

Protesters burnt old used tyres on roads, blocked traffic and shouted slogans against what they called incompetent management of the KE that had failed to maintain power supply even in the so-called exempted areas.

People took to streets in Lines Area, Garden, Mauripur and Nishtar Road where they blocked roads and burnt tyres.

A large number of people protested against outages and water shortages in Korangi, Liaquatabad, Landhi, Gharibabad, Saddar, Lucky Star, Malir, Saudabad, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Korangi Crossing and many neighbourhoods of Scheme 33 and blocked traffic in protest.

The residents were protesting over up to 14-16 hours of power loadshedding in their respective neighbourhoods.

In other words, in the midst of summer, the citizens were having electricity rationed to them based on political, not humanitarian needs. I can’t wait to see how that works out in the European Union and US.

Nothing bad could happen from that right?

India is not going to miss a chance, as highlighted in the first video above, to demonstrate how bad this is going for the Pakistani civilian government:

This will not end well.

The military will have to step in if this continues.

Thankfully, despite energy, food, and other shortcomings, there are nor more mean tweets being read by the Pakistani people.
