I’m a political agnostic.
When I was in college I hung out with the Keynes crowd and leftist nutjobs.
After my first 1040 filing in the mid-1980’s, I understood Reaganism and became a conservative, with Libertarian leanings, and a member of the GOP.
As the 1990’s progressed, I realize the GOP was as full of crap as the Democommies, but stayed with them until 2004 when Ron Paul rose up and said “hey, I’ve got a great idea, let’s restore the Constitution.” George W. Bush demonstrated he was a tool and every President since has tried to one up him with their tooliness (is that a word?).
Thus when I saw this headline from CoinTelegraph, stupid me clicks on it, even though I am a cryptocurrency skeptic:

Bitcoin (BTC) mining stocks soared double digits on Wednesday a day after United States presidential candidate Donald Trump promised to bolster mining operations in the country.
Trump said he wants “all the remaining Bitcoin to be MADE IN THE USA!!!” adding it would help the country be “ENERGY DOMINANT” in a June 12 post, which came shortly after a meeting he hosted with some of the industry’s top executives.
Trump also reportedly told the industry executives that he promised to support the sector should he be elected as president in November.

Trump doesn’t understand Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies as they are an international dark pool with anonymous trading patterns that only come to light should a US citizen elect to convert the crypto into US dollars via a wallet, bank, or other instrument.
We have two elderly, technologically, geopolitically, and economically ignorant souls who could care less about the Constitution or reality nor if they poop in their britches on stage running for President of the so-called free world.
