I long ago said that when President Trump did good things, which have been few and far between, these pages would call balls and strikes and praise him for making the correct decision. The removal of President Obama’s absurd war on air, aka, carbon dioxide and other so-called “greenhouse” gasses by President Trump and EPA’s Lee Zeldin is long overdue and a victory for not just “big business” but small business alike.
The media, as can be expected, went hyperbolic in it’s reporting:
Trump, EPA’s Zeldin announce end of scientific basis for U.S. action on climate change
Mad Emperor Trump declares war on the air
Trump revokes basis of US climate regulation, ends vehicle emission standards
This morning I was scanning the Sunday news shows for once and of course one of the nutters who depended on government grants said hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths due to heart attacks and asthma would occur due to this decision.
I could go on and on and on with the hyperbole from the left and the nut job scientists that created an industry that only profited themselves, made Algore a South Park joke, and of course enriched large banks (and Kristi Noem) with what could only be called a fraudulent trade in “carbon credits” which did nothing to clean the air but instead taxed the citizenry even further.
This was a win for small business and the American public if we’re going to get serious about reducing energy costs and re-industrializing the United States in the modern era.
Good job President Trump and Lee Zeldin.
