Way, way, way back in history, okay, December of 2025 these pages predicted the following:
1. Despite “government” reports and the enactment of the One Big Beautiful Bill consumer sentiment for the lower 70% of the population remains suppressed. This anger with embedded inflation, flat wages, and the collections efforts by the IRS against delinquent student loan deadbeats creates a wave election for the mid-term. Using the “economy sucks” theme, the DNC learns a lesson and creates a revival of the faux “Dixiecrat” concept in Alabama, Kansas, and Texas. Republicans lose over 60 seats in the House and 6 seats in the Senate. The shockers are losses by the GOP Senate races in Alabama, Kansas, and Ohio.
Alabama is not doing it’s part because I guess they are blaming the Democrats for screwing their two college football teams for some reason. However Kansas and Ohio are quite in play for the lefties. And honestly speaking, this author really did not think the Trump administration was so stupid to start a new Middle East war with Iran, a historic enemy that very few empires in two millenniums have defeated.
The real reason your humble author’s prediction is still in play has nothing to do with abortion, the war on drugs, or even America’s insane budget issues. It comes down to energy and the GOP doesn’t have it and the American consumer can not afford it.
The following two graphics sum up just how bad it is going to be for the Grand Old Party.

The AAA webpage has no reason to lie nor promote any political ideology. Data is data and the numbers above reflecting this time period when early voting plus mail-in balloting has begun in many states will doom the Republicans. This of course required an inquiry to the most snarkastic AI engine out there, the one and only Grok:

Would you like some “I can’t believe it’s not butter” to spread on your pain Republicans?
This self-inflicted stupidity is well deserved after years of abusing your pro-capitalist, conservative, Constitutionalist base.
