If there ever was a propaganda joke of an attack, thus far Iran has conducted it to perfection. It’s almost as bad as some of the Hamas nonsense where they claimed to have destroyed the Knesset in Israel.
Instead of posting the videos that everyone has seen by now, here is the statement from by the General Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council regarding the Iranian missile response to American aggression (their words, not mine):
In response to the aggressive and brazen action carried out by the United States against Iranian nuclear sites and facilities, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have struck Al Udeid Air Base where American forces are stationed in Qatar. The number of missiles used in this successful operation equals the number of bombs used by the United States in its attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, and a military base completely distant from residential areas and civilian facilities in Qatar was targeted. This action carries no dangerous nature toward the friendly and brotherly state of Qatar and its honorable people, and the Islamic Republic of Iran affirms its commitment to maintaining and continuing the warm and historical relations with Qatar.
If anyone thinks this is going to escalate again, I have news for my readers; it will not as China, Russia, and the United States have all said the final word:
Enough
Despite the public chest beating by Bibi and the Basement Ayatollah, the reality is that the major powers have had enough of the risk of this expanding across the region. The Arab Sunni financiers, the London and Wall Street bankers, plus of course the major money centers in Asia are putting the kibosh on this big war.
Where does this go from here?
Here is a sampling of the nonsense on social media today to provide a clue:

That was lame, even for a so-called “Islamist we’re going to blow up the world” power move.

Hint number one, it was all for show.

Needless to say, President Instability chimed in shortly thereafter.

Yes, thank you WTI longs for your attention to this matter as you sold off this afternoon in panic mode.
Of course he had to thank his new buddies, one of the governments responsible for funding terrorism in the region also:

From all of this, here is what any rational individual can conclude:
1.The world’s central bankers have had enough, including those funding and playing both sides in this conflict.
2. Israel took a beating. Iran took a beating. The risk of $80+ oil would have inflicted a beating on everyone but Russia but Putin could not allow economic and geopolitical instability to reach a point where a broader war could break out at this moment.
3.China refused to take sides to any major degree. Commercial trade is far more important than a regional conflict interrupting their oil supply and new silk road ventures than conflicts raging in the Middle East with their customers and energy suppliers.
In the end, questions will be asked what led to this “sudden” decision. Odds are it was the meeting I referenced in my posting last night where potentially Vladimir Putin, in a nod to his “buddy” (according to the lunatic MSM) Trump could look like the hero by ending this after a token exchange of Iranians firing missiles into empty bases.
As Axios reported tonight, Trump wants to declare victory and call it a day:
Trump calls for ending war after Iran’s retaliatory missile attack
In the end, Vlad wins his desire by draining the availability of missile interceptors available to export to Ukraine. For the Saudi/GCC block, it’s a major win with both of their enemies getting a bloody nose. Another win for the Saudis and the Sunni governments is that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is finally indicted then removed from office as he’s about as popular as former US President Biden’s butt warts after hundreds of homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed with nothing tangible to show for it. Especially if the senile old Ayatollah is still in power only as a figurehead for a new ruling religious council.
After several more days of heavy exchanges, especially larger ones from Iran and Israel as the propose ceasefire day moves closer, then and only then will this end. Based on commentary from Israel like the story linked below, that moment is coming sooner than most might think(via the Times of Israel today):
Israel reportedly tells Iran it’s aiming to end war within coming days
In the end, Trump might look victorious and can brag about it, but as I warned last week trust in America to make deals or act as an honest broker has been shattered not just in the Middle East but globally. The long term deterioration in trust for the US after the destruction not in Iran, but Israel, Libya, Syria, etc. and refusal to help dismantle destabilizing organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda can only be viewed as those groups acting as agents for the Saudis, Qataris, and of course US intelligence agencies. This is not a universal perspective globally, but that of the Islamic street on a global basis, something that everyone needs to pay more attention to in the weeks and months ahead.
The obvious is happening now as it always does in these modern day conflicts; the central banks of the world, including Israel and in Asia, Europe and the US, and of course, Beijing and Moscow, have instructed the warring parties that this is over.
For now.
