Eight hundred plus billion dollars a year recently spent at the Pentagon on hammers, nails, and overpriced toilet seats.
One would think that the propagandists, er, graphic artists of whatever persuasion are working for the US Navy would have some idea about aircraft or naval vessel identification.
Nope.
The aircraft in the picture are silhouettes of Russian Sukhoi Su-27 interceptors. The naval vessel appears to be that of a Russian Missile frigate. Needless to say pro-Russian Telegram posters had some fun with this:
Worse, the soldier is saluting with his left hand, something I haven’t seen in my lifetime.
The incompetence in our military is at all levels and as I out lined earlier, it’s not going to get any better any time soon.
Go have fun drinking and blowing some stuff up tonight America, we’re going to need the practice as citizen soldiers.
