And no, that is not a typo. That is the rank amateurish “journalistic” efforts put forth by NBC news. They actually used a lower case “I” in the title for whatever reason, just like the rank amateurs in our government.

Rear Admiral Drax was probably a good family man, a nice man, and a good naval officer. As the picture illustrates at the top of this article, he had lots of ribbon salad for probably suppressing all kinds of dangerous natives in the British Empire at the time.
But damned if his actions did not insult the hell out of Stalin in 1939.
Actually not “his” actions, but the actions of the idiots in charge of the English and French governments at this time. The good military officer was just following orders for which he was in way over his head, sort of like Liz Truss the UK Foreign Secretary today. She demonstrated ineptness that even made Hillary Clinton blush.
By the way, stop me if you have heard this in the last week.
The two arrogant and incompetent leaders of the late 1930’s thought they could send a group of minor league military officers by sea to negotiate with Stalin to win his support for defending Poland and blocking Hitler from invading. Needless to say by sending back bench staff, Stalin and Russia was greatly insulted.
