Ugh. The editorial from the New York Post this morning is just one more indication that the swamp has won.
Instead of focusing on the reality of the moment, Trump’s advisors are serving him poorly by preventing him from achieving any of his final goals in a bid to usurp the blob in Washington, D.C.
Number of actual declassified documents from the White House this year with any meaning:
While President Trump had indeed pardoned some of the individuals wrongly persecuted, there has been zero action to pardon Assange or Snowden who did more to hurt than swamp than apparently four years of his administration. The other executive actions he could have taken as payback to the swamp are either being blocked or he’s too cowardly to execute them, because the GOP has falsely convinced Trump that he can be the nominee in 2024; something they will never allow to happen again.
Instead of a pocket veto of the Porkulus II bill which would have forced Congress to confront the voters and explain why Pakistani transexuals and illegal aliens are getting taxpayer checks, he conceded the high ground and went for the cheap out. The staff actually convinced the President that signing this bill will mean something for the Georgia Senate runoff. In reality, if they can steal a Presidential election, stealing two more cheap seats is akin to shoplifting at a local 7-11.
The New York Post editorial attempts to take the high ground, attacking the “conspiracy theories” surrounding the election and stating the following:
Securing the Senate means securing your legacy. You should use your considerable charm and influence to support the Georgia candidates, mobilizing your voters for them. Focus on their success, not your own grievances, as we head into the final week.
If you insist on spending your final days in office threatening to burn it all down, that will be how you are remembered. Not as a revolutionary, but as the anarchist holding the match.
What fools.
By trying to appeal to Trump’s ego, the Post has indicated that they too wish to maintain at least one foot in the swamp to retain some fallacy as an “unbiased” source of journalistic integrity. This editorial is not about Trump’s administration and its accomplishments but protecting the Post’s ability to claim the mantle of the conservative maverick, much like Fox News used to do.
Trump’s legacy, like all legacies after wars and political battles, are written by the victors, not the vanquished. No matter what Trump does or says, history will judge him cruelly and unfairly, because he failed to prevent the globalist overthrow of our nation.
