Russian Citizens Begin Evacuating the Republic of Georgia

It what appears to be another Nuland revolution, a simple law proposed by the lawfully elected legislature and executive branch has suddenly “triggered” the usual suspects.

Video from the Russian news service Ivestia highlights the concern as traffic jams appear at checkpoints near the Georgia-Russian border:

In the capital of Tbilisi, the protests have reached the point where special forces have begun firing tear gas at protestors:

The violence accelerated from a peaceful (ahem) protest into violence against the government tonight as a police car was overturned and set on fire in the capital:

Meanwhile, just like 2014 Kiev, barricades are constructed in the streets of Tbilisi.

Stay tuned folks, it’s getting hot in Georgia…

Because I think NATO needs a southern front to relieve the pressure on Ukraine.
